Buyer beware and don't piss off the receiptionist Took my dog in. He couldn't lift his head up to see you, and yelped when you touched his head/shoulder area. His eyes were dilated and he was panting excessively. You could tell without knowing him something was seriously wrong. Dr. Pflaum is friendly and told us he would run tests,and keep him over-night. Dr. Flannery??? When is Dr. Flannery opening his business? I thought it was suppose to be July. I have been watching the local newspaper & haven't seen anything yet. Anyone know, is he still planing on opening a clinic here in Boulder and when?
Would give 10 stars if I could I moved a few years ago, and this is certainly no longer the closest vet or animal clinic to us. However, we received such great service and care from you all in the past that I would not dare to go elsewhere. Thanks for all of your compassion.
Sick animals left unattended I took my dog Seth in to see Dr Pflaum as I noticed he was losing weight. Doc said he would do blood work and see what was going on. He told me that he had ,"early stages of kidney disease" and worst case scenario would be special diet and meds. He kept him for 3 days. When I got Seth home, I had to get to work. Later that night he started vomiting all night long so I took him back to Dr Pflaum the very next day. Care and Service have been excellent Care and Service have been excellent. We have used Horizon Vet Clinic for several years for our cats. They have always been attentive and caring in my experience. The Vet provides excellent service and does not "push" extra services that are not needed. We use Alpine whenever we have the need. Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional service.
PLEASE BEWARE, WORST PLACE. Please BEWARE!! Being very new to town I took my chances with a new vet and I took my pet to Horizon Animal Hospital to get neutered and have his dewclaws removed. If only I new it would be one of the worst decisions I have made. To start off I felt very rushed and unimportant to all the employees. Not to mention I never even met or spoke with the vet before OR after my pets surgery. Great work Horizon! KC and Dr. Pflaum are great. Horizon is so helpful and everyone is very kind. It is not a fun thing for pets or pet owners to have to take their loved ones to the vet, but Horizon does a great job of making that a very easy process for everyone.
Even Kayla loves them! Everyone here is so nice. The office smells nice and is clean. It is obvious how much they care about my daughter, I mean my pet, Kayla.
