RecommendedWe have taken our animals to Hope since I moved to Athens 18 1/2 yrs ago. We recently lost our 18 year old beloved dog and 19 year old cat, and they were so very comforting throughout the entire experience. We still take our 14 year old dog there:-) and recently adopted a new shelter dog, whom we hope to have many years under Hope’s care. One week ago, my Cavalier woke up paralyzed. Dr Stopp did a thorough physical exam and said my dog had 2 options. Steroids may work, or she may have to be put down. The steroids worked and my do is running one week later. She examined my dog like no other vet, looking for nerve ending , etc. She is trained to practice Chiropractic medicine on animals. If you animal has bone or spinal issues, Dr Stopp is SO good and thorough, without running up the vet bill. Thank you, Dr Stopp! Mary Stribling
