Awesome dining experience! Was in Lakeway for our anniversary & drove all way to Hoover’s to indulge & I’m glad we did! Hefty portions, good prices and VERY delicious! Real down home cooking! The service was also fantastic!

Rather bland food made by people who seem to struggle with the basics. Skip this place unless you are prepared to be bored.
Down home, 100% authentic, southern comfort food. This place wrote the book and it’s a best seller. Hoovers will fix you up some vittles that will make you want to sit in the waiting area until you get hungry again. In fact, you’re gonna be mad as hell when you get full. If you have never been here, go as soon as you possibly can. If you have already been here, I don’t have to tell you because you’re probably on your way now (if you’re not, you are wishing you were). This place will not disappoint.

Have always loved Hoover’s! The fried pork chops are amazing! The mac and cheese is excellent!
