Service was bad from the moment I walked in til the moment I walked out! My waiter was tipsy/drunk and reeked of alcohol!!! Not once did he check on us and I had to ask a different waitress to refill my sweet tea. Talked to management and he wasn't helpful at all. His excuse was they are busy.

Hoover’s is a classic. Great veggie plate options and that’s my fave. Service was prompt, friendly and food was fantastic. An Austin icon for sure.
Everything is delicious, service is always friendly. Large portions , great price. I have never had a bad experience here.
Great fried catfish & fried okra!!
The food was hot and flavorful.
It was ok, not a happy fan of the corn bread and the other roll
Customer service need to smile and greet customers and some of the waiters could be better
