These people, particularly Sam*****, took $5662 off of my credit card and will not refund it to me. They leave you on hold, will not return calls or messages. Less than 24 hrs after speaking to Sam and his asst Eddie I decided not to go forward with using them. I emailed them and sent a cancellation letter before they even opened. $5662.00 was too much money but conveniently enough on my credit card. I have been trying for 2 months to get a refund. I went to Honest Tax to get help with my taxes last May. They promised me that they could help me, so I paid them $1800 to resolve my situation. We are now in March and I still haven't heard anything from them. When I call, they do not call back. They use the excuse that they called but I didn't answer. I started out with Honest tax in 2018 with a balance owed to the irs of over 30k. I am pleased to say that I am debt free from the IRS thanks to Honest tax. All these guys and gals at honest tax are honest and do their due diligence. I highly recommend honest tax for all your tax needs. Thank you so much (Honest tax) for helping me with my tax issues.
We contacted Honest tax hoping they would help us resolve our current tax situation. Upon contacting them they starting out nice. We paid them in full to represent us and they setup payment plans with both the I.R.S. and the MN Dept of Revenue. We have made 11 payments and have not been in contact with them until we received a CP2000 letter from the IRS claiming a mistake was made on our 2019 return We had to reply back by Feb 9th or they would assume we agreed with the letter. I hired them to file some missing returns and settle with the IRS. They filed the returns and then let it sit for two years piling up interest and penalties. Then they tried to hand me over to another company to do what I had paid them to do. Dishonest Tax!

I signed on with Honest Tax March of 2021. Thay advertise that thay will keep me informed every step of the way. I paid them the 3800 dollars thay wanted to resolve my problem. From there thay said the statue of limitations will soon run out so thay would work out the minimal payment untill the statuue of limitations runs out. horrible company took my money no help at all after working with 10 different people and sending the same papers 6 times costing me $6-7 each time

This company is a rip off. It should be called "Dishonest Tax"!! They had our credit card # and charged $5,000 without our consent paying well over $20,000 and have made our situation worse. We have had to hire an attorney!! Please do not get trapped into anything with these people. Once they have your money they will not answer the phone or return calls!! They may have moved!!! Money down the drain and tax situation even worse!!! I am 80 years old and consider this "Elderly Abuse"!!
