I sent them a thousand dollars to start my service but never got a reply it's a scam not to be trusted **** ********
It started great, but once I paid upfront, they stopped taking my calls and now my taxes are in collections and I owe more now then I did before! Stay away from them at all costs. They should be called DIS Honest Tax Scammers!!!
If I could leave ZERO stars on this company I would! They have gotten me into more debt than I already am and did NOTHING with my offer in compromise with the **** I owe $70K in back taxes and this ridiculous company made me take out over $30K in loans to pay them their SO CALLED fee plus pay the *** a so called "good faith" payment. Well I hired another company to investigate what Honest Tax was doing and they were not doing their job on my behalf. I paid this company upfront and two months later ** still waiting for my returns. Every time I called I was told the returns will be worked on. That they are working on ******************************************** There are always excuses. Finally I asked for a full refund. I was told my case will go to arbitration and I would be offered a severance. The representatives I spoke with were condescending, dismissive and rude to me. Buyer beware.
I highly recommend Honest Tax for anyone facing tax challenges. Their team's expertise and commitment to client success are unmatched.
Horrible!!! wasted 4 yrs and several $k with them going around in circles, then they wanted 11K to put me in noncollectable status!!!Went with a local private company and OIC was excepted and settled in 13 months for less than 1/2 of what I paid them.Stay away from DIS Honest tax... very unprofessional
They defrauded my boss for $27,000 and did nothing. They keep trying to call him and **** him back in. He is elderly and they totally took advantage and will not stop harassing him. They did nothing but make him sign contracts and owe money they never paid!
I'm now left hanging. Several thousand dollars in debt to pay then and their lawyers, but they can't be contacted for progress. I think I have not been well handled by this company.
