We checked into this hotel on July 7th - we were initially in room 1205, and then moved to 1605. Our first room was in rough shape. It looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time - fluffs and other debris all over the carpet. The sofa, walls and just about every other surface was covered in stains. The tub didn’t drain, the tub walls and caulking were red with mildew, which made the bathroom stink. There’s dirt in all the corners of the bathroom. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful welcome & exceptional service After a long trip and a freezing winter day ❄️, we were greeted at the front desk by Hedy with the warmest smile. Her kindness and genuine care immediately made us feel at home — this level of customer service is rare. Spacious but outdated rooms. This is probably the only Hilton in the world that still does not have Smart TVs in rooms. Having said that, positives are the breakfast is absolutely wonderful and the staff at the front desk are very friendly and nice. The location is wonderful. It is close to many things in Halifax downtown and the harbor front.
I was extremely disappointed with our stay at this hosel. Myself and my son were there for a sports tournament and we stayed for 5 nights. The initial issue was that the lobby and dining areas are filled with mice. I saw upwards of 12 mice running through the breakfast area as well as I saw 2 mice chasing each other through the lower level hallway.
