This is Kathy, a resident at Allegria Village in Dearborn, MI. I was inroduced to Homestead Health Care services, housed here, we live, about 2 years ago after my husband was discharged from the hospital not able to do anything to care for himself. Homestead provided the services of very well trained and professional aides to help us daily, with additional help on days that I need to do errands outside our home. it's an great place to work and for the seniors to live at.
I think the employees can make or break a company and the two ladies that took care of my mother for the past year went beyond what was expected of a care provider. They understood her financial situation wouldn't allow her to enter an assisted living facility, so they both stepped up and gave the care that you can't put a price on. Spending hours just talking with her helped immensely, running errands, laundry, and delivering all her meals were extra jobs they did religiously. Maria and her staff have been a great help to my mom over the past months. Maria is very patient and kind, as well as being responsive. If I have a question or concern, she quickly answers my text or returns my phone call.
I have worked for Homestead Home Healthcare for over 20 years. I started as a caregiver and currently working as a manager. Homestead continues to grow as a company.Many opportunities for advancement. Owner has always told me to do what's best for the resident's.The company does believe and practiceson a daily basis. Corporate encourages staff to think outide the box. I continue to make a differrence daily. Anyone that wants to work with elders and make a difference. Homestead is the place to work.
