Great Place to live I have been here for 6 months now. The employees in the rental office are wonderful and the maintenance staff are very responsive to my request. I love the online payment and maintenance request method. It is very easy to obtain assistance and support.

Noisy Neighbors, and kids!! Noisy! No quiet hours, ppl litter everywhere and neighbors are all around rude! Ppl can not control their kids and my home always has issues. Every month I have to put in a maintenance order. However, the staff is lovely but even the staff's great personalities cannot make up for all the noise and problems I have faced here!! I wish they would enforce quiet hours!! Also on a more positive note maintenance workers are friendly and work really hard. They respond quickly to any issues.
Management I renewed my lease in October. I have lived there for 2 years. I was promised a free carpet cleaning. No one had called me to schedule it. I called and was told the manager was going to call me back, I called 3 more times with the same response and still have not received a call. Very poor management, and water and gas prices are ridiculous.
Decline in safety, increase in pay Leasing office is nice (from my interactions) but staff seems to change often. I went from getting notices about everything going on in my building, to not even being notified when my apartment would be blocked off for painting. Rent is affordable but when it comes time to resign your lease your price will get jacked up at least $100. Do not move here Do not be fooled by the prices management may seem to be nice,but they do not care about issues that happen. My sink was clogged for three days before anyone came to fix it when maintenance finally came he made the situation worse and left a mess everywhere. When I spoke to management about this they just tried to get me t move out.The walls are so thin I can hear everything my neighbors are doing. People have 3 or more dogs in there apartment there is always dog poop everywhere. People are always sitting in... read more
RUUUUUNNN I currently live here, and I would tell you to RUN away from this place. It started out as a subpar apartment (you get what you pay for) but it has escalated to one of the worst places I've ever lived. The workmanship within the apartment is old and needs to be redone entirely, cracking paint...lead leaks from old paint...the floor being uneven...etc. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbors doing everything including having a 5am party on a Wednesday night. New Managemeant brought new problems I've lived at Homestead at Laurel formally known as Montpelier Leasing for 3 years and I WILL NOT be renewing my lease! The only reason I've given them 2 stars is because Maintenence is the ONLY great service they offer! When I first signed my lease I chose the appropriate complex because I enjoy grilling during summer nights when this new management came they brought new rules which prohibited grills. Can't leave soon enough This is the worst place i have ever lived, i would rate it a zero if i could. One star is being gracious considering the experience i've had living here. The management is terrible. The apartments are old and dirty. Maintenance is incompetent and incapable of fixing anything. There is never anywhere to park and the neighbors are awful.
