I signed up 25 properties in January of 2025, most were vacant land.April 17 2025 I received 5 properties from my dad's estate of which were part of the 25 properties that are signed up for home title lock, on approx may 14 2025 I then transferred those 5 properties to my LLC.I never received a single alert from home title lock, although they did send 2 alerts for transfers back several years ago, in 2018.The ironic thing is I also have these properties signed up for fraud alert through our county and they sent me notificati... read more

Hi ****! I have your account up right now and I'm looking into this/reviewing the notes. I do see that it's in research, so I've contacted the research team to get a current status update. And my sincerest apologies that they haven't beenkeeping you up to date on their findings. We don't like people being in the dark and I'm working with our operations manager to ensure that our processes include keeping our subscribers in research up to date.
I got what I paid for but had to unsubscribe because I couldn't maintain the subscription -- I was broke at the time. They did detect the new ownership of a house that I did sell. When Home Title Lock confirmed the cancellation, their e-mail sounded like a chain letter warning me of dire consequences if I didn't re-subscribe.
I recently started to get numerous calls from "collection firms" that would repeat my social security number, date of birth, home address and other sensitive information to me while telling me they were filing a lien against my home. None of these debts were mine or on my credit reports which I have been watching closely since 2015. When I was advised by an attorney I work for to get Home Title Lock to be sure that no mortgages or loans would be taken out without my knowledge, I jumped to action. Signed up for this service but never received my "Comprehensive Title Report" that was supposedly a $100 value. They make it VERY difficult to cancel. You can't cancel in the login portal and must email customer service. When I emailed to cancel they asked me if I was sure and to confirm my decision THREE times before processing the cancellation. They did not honor the free 30 days after cancellation. Very shady tactics. They do not have my trust
When I inquired about Home Title Lock I spoke with ****** ********, who was able to answer all my questions. He was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the circumstances under which someone would be able to surreptitiously steal the title of my home through nefarious means. I was somewhat skeptical at first, but the more he explained the scenarios that have taken place in the past, the more I realized that this is a very real possibility.
