Try the nonchalanta. It starts off like an enchilada but then the cook presumably gets so high he forgets he's working at a Mexican restaurant and not an Italian one. Was that a blanket of mozzarella? Where was the enchilada sauce? And why a whole green chili inside? Was there some kind of Fear and Loathing moment going on in the kitchen that the rest of us were not privy to? Every time I come here, I keep expecting it to be at least a decent experience, but the food is terrible, the margaritas are even worse...(pretty sure they're just straight sour mix) and the service is slow and inattentive (and I'm a server...I know all about the server life..but come on....) The avenue has so so soo many other great places to choose from...please do not go here. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Found a hair in my food one time. another time the kicked me out because i asked for compensation when they threw my food away after i took five bites. I was called a nuisance by the staff and promoter after my friends and I spent over $200 there. Horrible food, horrible service. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates you.
I had my first visit here this evening. My steak taco salad was amazing! The meat was seasoned perfectly, the guacamole was to die for. My boyfriend got the nachos. They were pretty terrible. Cheese was cold, no beans, very bland. He barely touched them. Our server was very sweet, and quick, but didn't inquire about his untouched nachos.

Been coming to this place is the day they opened, Today was the first time I was ashamed of the place, lunch was delicious drink was delicious waiter needs to be replaced, left a tip but apparently it was not enough for him so he had to let me know I only left 10% he must not know he's lucky he got a tip. We're all experiencing hard times these days and anytime you can give anything it should be appreciate next time NO TIP
Margaritas are the best and the vibes on the ipod are always chill.
