You may call it a huge cave but the Christensen family called it home. This 5000 sq ft cave-home comprises of fourteen marvellous rooms and other attractions. Including a zoo of exotic animals, an artwork exhibition by Lyle Nichols and a gift shop, this unique home is a fantastic work of art. Impossible to miss, this humongous structure, modeled right inside the Utah canyons, is located along Highway 191. Built over a period of a century, this historic home is open to public all year long and is an absolute must visit.

What an awesome spot! We needed something kid friendly for our 2.5 year old to break up the "traditional" Moab adventures. Though we did not do the home tour, walking the grounds and visiting the zoo ($4.25 pp + $5 bucket of feed) was fantastic! Up close and personal with the animals. Loved it! WE WILL BE BACK!

every detail makes a place to stop � don't lose the opportunity to do it
The petting zoo is a small prison of confined lonely animals. Don't go and save yourself the heartache of seeing sad animals

Sorry that you did not enjoy the visit. All of our animals are treated well and we are licensed with the USDA, Widlife Div. and the state of Utah. They came to us as babies are we loved them all with their unique personalities.
