Up until about 2 weeks ago Dr David Hodes at Palisades Pulmonary in West Nyack was my primary care Dr for about 5 years, as well as my wife's. But I've mostly only seen his nurse Lorraine Olivero Dr Hodes had told my wife "if you or your husband ever have something that can't wait, always call me and I'll find a way to fit you in, be persistent". Dr. Hodes is definitely not fast; you'll wait and get seen after your scheduled appointment time 9 times out of 10, but he's awesome! Brilliant doctor and diagnostician who really cares about his patients. He came highly recommended by (medical professional) family and friends. Esp for those with pulmonary issues.
Attentive, caring, and most importantly smart doctor. He cares about his patients and it comes across in every interaction. I'd highly recommend Dr. Hodes to anyone.

Best Doctor I have ever had! I have been a patient of Dr. Hodes for over 15 years. His office is clean and his staff are the most friendly, accommodating and caring staff you could find. Dr. Hodes is exceptionally caring, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful sense of humor. I've never had a doctor spend as much time with me as Dr. Hodes. He is genuine and one of a kind.
He is the best pulmonary Dr. that I have been to. He listens, he is kind and thorough.
