Dr. Hodes saw my mother when she had pneumonia and was not getting better. He took care of her like no doctor I have ever seen. He was able to keep her out of the hospital by doing the appropriate tests and evaluation, and then checking in on her sometimes twice daily, even over the weekend. He made her (and me) feel safe and in knowledgeable, caring hands. He is an example to doctors about what caring for a patient can look like.
He first took care of my mother.joanv729@gmail.com. she had lung cancer. He took great care of me . He was so kind and efficient. Diagnosed what turned out to be thyroid cancer in 2000. In 2009 he diagnosed me with lung cancer and had a lung section removed surgically. And in 2017 took great care of me for many things in the ICU for an extended time. I had to be intubated was on a ventilator and was tube fed for a long time. And here I am In the middle of 2022. He has saved my life a few times.,.. I hope he stays in practice... read more
There is no better pulmonologist. I say this with about 30 years of having him as a doctor.. going through “much”.
I had an appointment with Sr. Hodes scheduled for 12/19. His office called this morning and abruptly cancelled our appointment and advised that he was going to be at the hospital that morning. The person then went on to tell me to call back after 1/15/2020 to schedule an appointment or I could just go ahead and schedule an appointment with someone else. My family met Dr. Hodes on August 5th during a medical crises with my Dad. On August 7th, I can honestly say he’s one of the most caring, dedicated, knowledgeable doctors I have ever encountered. We are still working with him in crises, but I’m so impressed with him that I just had to share my appreciation for this man, (this doctor) who has given us hope!
For me Dr. David Hodes, best for the best pulmonologist in Rockland county
broken ribs; etc. … Dr. Hodes and I never met. Dr. Hodes ordered imaging within the hour. He saw me at 5:00p.m., same day, with all imaging results. Stayed with me till 7pm. Followed up till I was good as new. And, he gave me a T#, to contact him day or night. I wish I had him now. I do not, because I've relocated south,
He is a caring physician who leave no stone unturned to provide care for his patients I travel an hour to use him as my medical professional
Had a serious condition that needed immediate attention, have been his patient for 5 years. He told me to go the the emergency ward. That's as bad as it gets.
