We are currently on a floor in the main building. No techs and only 2 nurses for 40+ sick, older patients. The care during the day was wonderful, tonight we have fallen into a black hole. I don't know how this supposedly world class hospital can treat people this way. Pay for more full time staff, treat your employees better and hire more people. If you put a patient in a room you need to be able to properly care for them. Our nurse tonight is lovely but there is NO WAY she can keep up!!!! This place is unbelievable. My moth... read more
My sister's life was saved by Dr. Kaul and his amazing team. They performed a miracle and we are forever grateful. The care that she is receiving at this hospital is wonderful in every way. You can tell that everybody loves their job from the front-desk, to the doctors, nurses and the garage attendant. It is so nice to be greeted with a smile wherever you go, especially when you are dealing with a crisis situation.
I have been here many times. The ER is way to busy. The wait times often are measured in hours. They are way understaffed. Beware of the food in the ER it is often spoiled and old. Once you have been admitted and are in a room the food is much better. The staff in the ER are very overworked and generally not as friendly as the rest of the staff in the hospital. When I am in the ER it can sometimes take hours to get pain medicine. It is very hard to give a review as I do like all the other parts of the hospital. But I dread g... read more
They saved my sister's life last night....need I say more? The surgery team didn't give up after an hour of CPR and battling a massive pulmonary embolism. We are so grateful to the surgery and SICU TEAMS. THANK YOU FOR SAVING HER LIFE!!!! My family and I are forever grateful!
Amazing hematology department- treated my iron deficiency. It was debilitating and made a great recovery. John Theuer Cancer Center is also one of the best cancer centers in the country by far. The latest and greatest technology and doctors at our fingertips. Truly heroes. God prosper that center.
