Horrible customer service and business practices. They provide you with inaccurate information to submit total loss claims and then hold you accounts hostage due to their own incompetence. Insurance submitted settlement documents via email (which I had been told was their preferred method); however after Hiway claiming they never received. I hand delivered to their St. Paul Office location. Their loan officer, Mr. K. Yang, gave me a whole slew of excuses as to what may have happened with admitting any liability. This place is bad for business. Got charged double interest on my auto loan for supposedly not having insurance when they are actually the one that fell behind with updating my information. Which led me to getting a delinquency dropping my credit significantly for the second time. Which all I was told was to “call the credit company” as if I was at fault here. This place is unprofessional, customer service is slow and would not recommend this union.

I recently applied for a personal loan and going on a month I have still not heard back. I've made several calls regarding the loan, spoke to a representative. They apologized for not contacting me. Then told me that they would in touch. I regret now that I applied for the loan because I now have a hard inquiry on my credit rating. My credit is good and I just recently paid off my car loan with Hi-Way. Frustrating!

Hiway Federal I have been a member of Hiway Federal Credit Union since I was 18 and I have always been happy with their customer service and support. I have a visa card through them and I have previously had a car loan with them and would not hesitate to have another loan through them.

My wife and I both applied for new accounts with both of us being offer a $ 150.00 in each of our accounts and a $50.00 gas card each. My wife did get both of hers but two weeks later I am still waiting for mine with no reason why I have not gotten it yet!!! We only want to understand what the wait is. We followed thru with what the company wanted and now we have no reason why we are not getting our share of the deal!!! There's no way this delay should be taken place. We are still waiting for my monies and gas card as of 11/... read more

Honestly, I had nothing but good to say about this bank until this year. due to unfortunate circumstances this last winter I had fallen slightly behind on my auto loan, and instead of working with me to try and figure something out, they decided to lock out all of my accounts. now normally this would not be a problem, and I would make my way out of it. ATM are always down . They need to update their atms so that we can do deposits and not have to take out my card and reinsert it to read the chips . I have limited ATMS that i can use to take out cash in and around the city area . If I go to the atm it’s always down .

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Since when do you guys give out new member numbers without informing the member???
