We were in town for the PAW Summer Convention. The ad for the restaurant came up on Facebook so we decided to try it out before we left. Some local friends recommended it. Kristina was server and she excellent. The other workers that assisted her were excellent as well. The food was great. No complaints. We got some peach cobbler to go.
I live in Tennessee; every time I come to Indianapolis, I make a point of going to His Place. Best home cooked soul food. I love their Chicken and Waffles, the greens and sweet potatoes! I always get peach cobbler to go. You are missing a treat if you dont go to His Place. On a scale of 1-10, they are an 11!
Great service, it was a little loud at lunch time. Food was salty to me.
My first trip and I did the fried chicken and mashed potato and Cole slaw! Breathtakingly wonderful. I’ve already picked out my choices for my next 5 visits!
