i made an appointment with her through telehealth in which she evaluated me for about 10 minutes and diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. i had a feeling that this wasn’t a proper diagnosis because of the fact that she diagnosed me with it in 10 minutes!! i got a second and third opinion in which i was diagnosed by BOTH doctors with PTSD and GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). She may need to consider retiring anytime soon if she can't take care of patients' inquiries as requested in a sincere yet timely manner.She has always been late to the appointments. She also seems to have low energy to take care of what patients requested. It took weeks for the simple paperworks. Saw her yesterday for the first and last time! She is so rude and doesn't care or listen neither understands the patients. She thinks everyone is addicted to medications. I don't like to take meds but I have to to be sane. She wants me to leave an anxiety medication given to me by other doctors in the past for a reason. It is helping me to live through the day, but she immediately dismisses what I say and has to be her own way. That is not a doctor. My mom calls them "Butchers" and I agree. Never go to her.
She diagnosed me and decided on my meds before ever meeting me. Had to pay $1650 out of pocket to see her a couple of times where I told her why I needed the medication I had previously been on and she refused. Didn’t want to hear anything about me, my previous treatment, or my previous diagnoses. Insisted on proven dangerous medication and held me hostage until I complied in spite of going 100% with the program. Generally unprofessional.
Dr Hirsch cared for our loved one who was admitted with severe psychosis. After her initial visit she called us at home and gave us her assessment. For us she was an answer to a prayer. We had tried to get help for 6 months and she was the first one to really understand how sick our loved one was. She did diagnosis bi-polar which was confirmed by another psychiatrist at a residential care facility. She really saw through the facade that our loved one put up. Most unprofessional rudest psychiatrist I’ve ever meet. She met with me for five minutes and mis diagnosed me with bipolar and gave me lithium which I had severe reactions to. But she gives all her patients lithium
11/2020 -Dr. Anita Hirsch is the absolute most evil and incompetent doctor I have ever met. Yes, this woman is rude and overcharges, like $900 for a 10 min session, but that is the least of it, she is deadly with her meds. My daughter was transferred to GSMO Behavioural Center after a bad bought of depression and anxiety during pandemic. She was optimistic that she was going to get the help she needed. Dr. Hirsch Anita, MD IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE DOCTOR!!! Our 15 years old daughter was brought to Mills Adolescent Mental Health center after 2 days at the emergency hospital. She arrived 4 am in the morning and did not see any doctor before 8 pm at night (Dr. Hirsch Anita, MD) for a 10 minutes consultation.
