My husband and I were visiting Tampa the first weekend in December. The hotel is gorgeous; so clean and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Our room was perfect and the convenience of the connected parking garage was definitely a plus when it was sprinkling one night. The only inconvenience came in the form of extremely loud and foul guests staying across the hall from us which had the added bonus of a very strong smell of pot that came from their room around 1am. Seemed petty cold. I know it is Fla but come on...when people a4e having to wear jackets and sweaters then the settings need to be reset.
I would have given them 5 stars but called Valet for our car then checked out. We waited 30 mins then we asked about the wait lady said she forgot to give the runner the keys. Then it took an additional 15 mins which is absolutely terrible. They were very busy but people coming out getting there car right away. Then they have the nerve to charge 20.00 for parking.
My best friend and I came to Tampa for my Birthday. When we checked in the Customer Service was Amazing. Everyone from the Vallet to Front Desk were great. I was very happy.
Stayed overnight to attend an event at the Straz Theater even though I live in Tampa. I felt the hotel was very nice, and had no criticism at all. This is one of the oldest hotels downtown, but also highly rated. We ate in the dining room for dinner and breakfast as well. The food was really good. I had nothing but a good experience.
Great room, great personnel!!! To bad the experience was ruined by your night time general manager and his assistant. I probably wont be staying again.
Awesome atmosphere, beautiful outside patio! Awesome service!!
