Its unbelievable. Everything you need is right here. Spacious clean rooms .Staff housekeeping is great .Restaurant is excellent. Pools hot tubs beach is all in close accessible.lobby and check in is so fast and easy. Beautiful surroundings decor and comfortable beds. Awesome sandy beach
Beautiful and clean, but it took them 3 tries to get my room right and then room service messed things up. It seems like they're working on some improvements, but there are still some bugs to be worked out it seems to me.
I am a platinum elite member. I only stay at Marriott hotels. This was not one of my favorites. The beach was beautiful! We enjoyed every minute. The service was slow. First morning we ordered breakfast. It was suppose to arrive 9:45am - 10am. At 10:30am we canceled the order since it still had not arrived. The beds are awful! By the end of our stay I woke up in horrible shoulder/neck pain completely unable to move! The spa at the Marriott was completely booked so I had to find a massage spa outside of the hotel. Marriott Resort & Spa Hilton Head was a great place to stay. They are working on updating the hotel, so can't wait until we come back to see how much better it looks... it is a little dated, so the update is much needed, but the staff was above and beyond excellent! Katie Jo at the front desk was very personable and helpful when needed (it was so awesome to hear she was from my girlfriend's hometown)... Martha was a wonderful concierge to us... highly recommended this place as we will probably be back next year!!! 😀
The property is in desperate need of updating. The bathroom was so small that you had to close the door in order to open the shower stall. The room was dirty. There was hair in the shower and on the floor of the room. The air conditioning unit continually dripped water and the hall floor was always wet.
beautiful resort, very clean, I love the view from the room to the ocean.
We had a great stay, loved our corner room, people were very nice and friendly. We're remodeling the lobby and check in, but things went smoothly. Pool was great and beach was awesome, hope to go back.
We come once a year and love the location the people at the motel are always so friendly uplifting and caring must I say hospitable is an understatement. We love the rooms we love the location we love the beach let me just say we found nothing about the hotel that we did not like. Not even home yet already looking forward to next year.
We are a SPG Gold Member and were very disappointed with Marriott service at Hilton head. First of all, I booked the hotel with a Marriott executive on the phone and she told us to book the basic rooms and they will upgrade us due to the status. As soon as we got to the hotel, the receptionist said, "I am sorry I cannot give you any sea facing rooms since we are overbooked".
