The doctor is amazing. Her husband, who is the front desk person and part owner, is an ass! He is a horrible person and I can no longer trust my pet care with a person who is part owner with his attitude and horrible customer service. The doctor came out as I was picking up my records and arguing with the husband, and I was in tears explaining how wonderful she is, but I cannot continue because of her husband's rudeness and "I don't give a shit if I offend you, go elsewhere" attitude. This is the ONLY person I'd ever trust my animals to and she doesn't overcharge like every other vet. She's very compassionate and understanding.
went to Hilltop Clinic on rt.9 in Leicester Ma. Friday the 22nd, with a two week old puppy in distress.we rushed there because it was close, we went in and a man who was working there was discussing a product they sell with some one. We announced we had an emergency and the male turned to me and said "we don"t do emergency's" and he turned his back to us.We got no advice ,suggestions,not a word. I drive an hour to bring all my pets here. When one of my dogs was very sick, she diagnosed him when the emergency vet couldn't, and saved his life. Barbara and her husband have always been kind and caring and have both gone out of their way to make sure our pets stay healthy. My 7 pets will never go anywhere else .

Compassionate and professional animal care. I've been to several vets in Worcester and never felt a connection to any of them. In fact, some I downright disliked and/or mistrusted. I found Dr. Nygard 5 years ago by Googling "best vet in Worcester County?". Her name was in the top several search results. I like her very much and appreciate her caring, no-nonsense approach. It's disgusting to treat customers the way they do and still have a line out the door. The man who answers the phone does not want your business and there's enough vets in the area to cover it. Karma is going to hit these people HARD. Please consider Leicester Veterinary Clinic, Becker College Vet Clinic, or Westside Animal Clinic in Worcester
