WORST doctor ever.....doesn't listen....refused to prescribe a blood thinner medicine that I needed that was in my price range (he prescribed one that was over $400.00 for a 30 day supply and refused to prescribe a muscle relaxer (not a controlled substance) for sciatic pain even though I was planning to travel across the USA and would need it. WORST DOCTOR EVER

At the first visit, when I mentioned that I would give birth naturally, she advised me to schedule an induction of labor for 38 weeks. My labor began exactly at 40 weeks on the expected date. To my great regret, she was present at my birth and I am very unhappy about this. She smelled terribly of perfume. Without saying a word to me, she consulted with the nurse about giving me an oxytocin injection and extracting my baby with a vacuum when I was already in labor. The doctors, nurses, and technicians at Lovelace are outstanding. My only concern is that they leave too often and Lovelace needs to pay them or treat them better. My real complaint with Lovelace is with Ardent their billing system and the administrative staff. The admin staff is rude, harmful to patients. I paid a copay of $300 for a PetScan and the hospital rescheduled it. When I showed up the intake staff chewed me out and said that I had not paid when I paid for the money the month prior. I had an accidental overdose of one of my prescribed medications--misunderstood how much I was supposed to take--and the nurses treated me like a drug addict. When one came in to help me walk to the bathroom with a walker, he glared at me and told me angrily: "You better not fall, because I don't want to do paperwork." I was so shocked and out of it that I didn't respond. It wasn't until I was better (weeks later) that I realized how messed up it was for him to say that. Urology clinic has a Dr. R. Williams. My girlfriend had surgery this morning at around 10:00. 2 10 2025. She began experiencing fairly severe pain around 2 today. I spent over 2 hrs on phone just trying to reach someone. I was hung up on, told urology had no phone #. I talked with multiple customer service folks. No one would give me the hospital administrators ph #. I don't know about the rest of this hospital but I would strongly suggest to avoid, avoid and avoid Dr. Williams and the urology dept! Was directed here for additional testing after my daughter was across the street at SANE for testing after sexual assault. The SANE team was wonderful, the police officer stated that he called across to the hospital and let them know we were coming… and then the hospital didn’t know anything. We were given blank stares and had to give information is the public areas, in front of everyone waiting. Then we were made to wait for hours. I brought my wife to the UTHET Pittsburg ER the morning of December 26th after having fallen and hit her head on Christmas. At registration, the intake PCT-Registrar (a former co-worker with a history of animus towards me) was polite but cold towards my wife. After taking my wife’s information, 74 years old, head injury, taking blood thinner, visible facial injuries, stated she was experiencing significant head and neck pain, we were told to take a seat in the lobby. I went into labor mid-November and had a very negative experience. The nurses made a comment that I was "a screamer" after dilating 2 cm in merely 30nminute unmedicated upon first arrival after they hadn't taken me seriously. They also decided on their own might I add, to rotate my baby due to him being sunny side up. The epidural did not block those senses. My mother had to leave the room during it because she could not see me in that much pain. The only positive was how amazing my night nurses were.
