The atmosphere of this place is what draws the regulars in. With acoustic guitars on the walls, autographed pictures alongside and an exterior wall painted with the American flag, the place screams Americana. When the weather is nice, make it a point to eat out. Their spacious and spread out patio accommodates several tables with beach umbrellas to shield from the sun. Outside, they even have a separate area dedicated just for kids, equipped with a playhouse with an attached slide,and tables just for kids.

Salad and wings were good... service was a little slow!!!! And nope it wasn't busy.

I was so heartbroken this evening after leaving which once was one of my favorite spots in Timonium area. I've been coming to this place for a few years now after moving in the area and I will never come back after this experience. This was my first time at Hightopps Backstage Grille, I was excited to go somewhere new and enjoy a different atmosphere. I was also going to celebrate with my girlfriends co workers. It was a celebratory night, a Masters Degree accomplishment shared with family and friends. We wanted a convenient place to go to relax and unwind from the excitement of the evening. What a pleasant surprise to find a table outside under the stars but within easy vision of the Oriole's game on several of the screens above the bar. Crab pretzel, crab tots, great wings. The quesadillas are some of the thickest ive seen.

It was a great atmosphere but the service wasn't the greatest. It wasn't busy. Live music playing in the background was nice. Drinks took forever to come to the table. They forgot my sons order when they brought out the food so we waiting an additional 15 minutes for it to come. In the meantime our original server disappeared. Another took over, dropped my sons food off and moved on to her regular tables. No apology for forgetting the food on the ticket or if it was missed by the kitchen.
