We finally had our craft room floors installed. We chose hardwood and Higgins as they had done wonderful work for us in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to have a new floor installed.
We visited the showroom at least three times before deciding on the perfect wood flooring for a large portion of our home and the right choice for an entry mudroom, laundry and half bath. Dean was very helpful in making suggestions for the right wood floor that had to work well with walnut kitchen cabinets as well as pine walls. The choice of cortex vinyl plank in mudroom proved to be perfect. Stair treads and upstairs landing as well as custom trim around fireplace brick are all amazing. We recently had a damaged area of floor replaced in addition to having a large adjacent area refinished. The refinished area came out great. We were very impressed with how they were able to transition to the existing finished floors. The area that needed to be replaced didn't end up with the esthetic we'd hoped for, but they returned a couple of times and ultimately we were satisfied with the final outcome. 5 stars because Higgins truly stands behind their work.
