Our restaurant is named after the owners father and remains a family owned restaurant established in 1979. we only serve the highest of quality fish at the lowest price for the enjoyment of our guest. Our meals are authentic japanese cuisine featuring home made teriyaki sauce, tempura sauce, ponzu sauce and salad dressing.

The quality of their service is superb. Waiting time is short and the foods are definitely authentic Japanese cuisines. I love them! You would too I'm sure.
Best food in town Food is amazing. Every time I come here, I feel like I never want to leave. Very chic atmosphere with a relaxing mood. Very Authentic – There's a lot of sushi in this neighborhood but Hide really stands out. The atmopshere is nothing to write home about. But it is functional. On the other hand, the food is to die for. Everything is great but I most enjoy the sushi, sashimi, and chirashi. It is fresh and perfectly prepared. It is in an area with many other places, but it stands out for its consistency and quality.
Pretty good food – I was planning to go to Tofu Ya yesterday but the long line drove me away... So I ended up in this place. For dinner, they have the regular teriyaki / tempura sets as well as a sushi menu. I got myself a Chirashi (sashimi over bowl of rice). Pretty good, paid $17 including tax and tips. Cash only though so make sure you have enough cash. I didn't drive but they have their own parking lot.
Good Sushi – Being new to LA and loving sushi, my friend said that I needed to try. We waited in line outside of the restaurant for about 15 min before we were able to get a table. The menu is pretty simple and I thought the sushi was very good. The rice had a nice flavor and I could tell that they've been in business a long time. They seemed to know what they were doing, I love places like this. The kitchen menu looked good and will have to comeback again.
Everytime I come to Venice to visit my Brother I just insist on coming here at least one nite. Great food, Great service, fun place to be Thanks for being there

best sushi, and awesome service too! – i dont know what all these people are complaining about service for. if you come once and throw a fit about 3 people on a 2 person table, you need to go to california pizza kitchen or something because your a panzy. i sit with 3 people at a 2 person table all the time, and ive never had a problem. tables have 4 sides. dont be retarded. the sushi here is the best in la period.
Really - no service and an ignorant attitude? damn and the reviews said otherwise... – "Eaten here before and have had a great time, fish wass fresh and the service was on point. Cue tonight. Wow, ridiculously ineffective sushi chefs (2 were in front of us rolling sushi like is a a slow motion sport - while also forgetting orders and not being attentive to our party of 2 or the party of 2 to the right of us) and atrocious wait staff.
