Was in Ames on business. Probably the best BBQ in Ames. Had far better at a place in Des Moines. Was set at a booth, but I was a one person table which may have been the reason why the waitress asked if I need a box 5 minutes after my food arrived. Never saw her again until I needed a box. No drink refill or nothing. Left the box on the table and didnt bother with ice cream. I will admit, after living in Memphis and Texas I am a BBQ snob, but I expected better after all the hype. Exceptional food at resonable prices. Fast curtious service. Our family's favorite place to eat.

Amazing place to eat! Cost is very respectable. Servers are fantastic.
The food was very good & you get a lot of what you ordered....it was filling !! I even took some home !! This was my 1st time ever to eat here.....one thing that didn't work for me was they call your number & you go down this long hallway & then have to stand for quite some time !! It was hard for me to stand that long....but no place to sit !! That was not good for me......
