I have eaten here twice and both times I really enjoyed my meal. This time I tried a sausage and ham meal. The sausage was very tasty and the ham was just right, not overly salty. The sides I chose were OK. We went on a day when Ames was inundated with high school students, teachers and parents in town for a music competition. The Ribs is to die for.. excellent service my kids loved the ice cream � loved the place.
It wasn't the be all end all of BBQ, but if you're in Ames, it's worth a look.
