Absolutely the worst car rental company I have ever dealt with long lines waited an hour and a half to get my car that was reserved and they told me they didn't have any Plus unwanted charges that I had no idea were coming go someplace else

NEVER RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ! I rented a car at the Miami Airport to drive to the keys. When we stopped for dinner we were MORTIFIED to find tens of THOUSANDS of cockroaches COVERING the seats and dashboard. When we opened the car door they scurried into every crook of the car where we soon discovered they lived in. Of course myself as well as my family was highly disturbed, but had no choice but to continue our journey to our resort, as we were so far from Miami. Excelent. Very efficient.
Horrible experience. 3rd time in a month I've rented here and the first time I got a rude attended this last time the receiving lady upon return tried to charge me 25$ for gas. Granted I had filled up and drive maybe 15-20 miles but that's less than a gallon not 25$ so after she was rude I went through 2 more people and finally got it knocked down to 14$. So the 20 minutes saved me 10$ and as a professional I bill 300$/hr so it actually cost me money. I'm not happy and if I have another bad experience with hertz I'll take my... read more
