My boyfriend and I were traveling to Memphis, TN for the St. Jude marathon event. We were told we could not get on the plane because we were "three minutes late." We ended up having to rent a vehicle from Hertz and drive 7 hours to our location. Marilyn was our Hertz assistant at the New Orleans airport. She was PHENOMENAL! I was of course in tears because I didn't want to miss the deadline to pick up our packets and we had a 7 hour drive in front of us. She provided GREAT customer service and comforting words. SCAMMERS!!! Absolutely the WORST experience I have EVER had! After not correctly booking my reservation on a company account and holding $580 on my card they charge me with "Damages for smoking in the car" I haven't touched a cigarette in 25 yrs!!!! These people will do what ever it takes to make a buck! I will NEVER USE this company again!!!

This has been the worst experience from any rental car company I have ever had. From start to finish this has been a nightmare. I had the unfortunate encounter with the Las Vegas airport return center that charges for another day for being slightly late even though I had confirmed that my rental was extended. The associate at the counter was completely incompetent, rude, and claimed her 29 years of experience was enough for her to know that nothing can be done. Greeted very well upon the check in, was given an upgrade to a brand new vehicle. Easy process.
