I just recently moved to Ames and was looking for a new dentist. I stumbled upon Ames Family Dental while researching online, and I am so glad I decided to go here! Everyone is so friendly! My hygienist made sure to thoroughly answer all my questions and help me feel comfortable during by appointment. Dr. Patten was also very welcoming and attentive. It was hard to leave my old dentist, who I had been seeing for the last 9 years, but I'm glad I found Ames Family Dental as my new dental home!

As usual, my appointment went very well. Lori is excellent in doing the cleaning and explaining any problems and concerns. Dr Good has been my dentist for a very long time and has always been the consummate professional. I am fortunate to have this dental team caring for my teeth.

Thank you! Dr. Patten is fantastic! I came in for wisdom tooth pain and to get me out of pain, he pulled the tooth. It was a surprisingly quick process, he made me feel very comfortable by explaining what he would be doing, he even cracked a few jokes during my visit to ease my nerves. As much as I don't want to another tooth pulled, It was a lovely experience. Thank you!
