Terrible, non-communicative, scammer management At first the property seemed fine, but the quality declined quickly. Common areas were poorly maintained, the elevators were frequently down, and several of our appliances failed within the first few months. The real frustration came at move-out. Management skipped the scheduled walkthrough and later hit us with charges for normal wear and tear like carpet cleaning and paint. SCAMMERS! Do not lease with equity residential! Living here was fine at first, but the building declined a lot over the two years we were residents. Rules weren’t enforced, the hallways often smelled like dog urine, and the elevators were constantly out of service. Within the first three months of moving in, we also had issues with nearly every appliance in our unit. CURRENT AND FUTURE RENTERS BEWARE: The biggest issue came at move-out. Verified Renter Management is not the best at the apartment lease office. They only care about new residents and not current residents. I called about a concern about my animals and coming in to my apartment unannounced and never received a call back or an email back. Very disappointed and frustrated with management. Advertised as a pet friendly environment in reality it seems like they care less, making it not pet friendly at all.
Scary place! We have had 3 shootings within half a block in one year! One was directly outside our bedroom! I would not recommend this place to anyone! The management will not do anything to make the neighborhood safer and has shown blatant disregard for the safety of their residents. Please if you have kids keep them safe and out of this area. Car thefts are rampant. One weekend 5 vehicles were stolen within a few hours within half a block. Our car was stolen and every neighbor we know has had someone break into their car! ... read more
Trashy Apartments with potential but poor care. Just after moving and filling out the walkthrough sheet given by the office we were questioned and blamed for every flaw we found in our unit. Maintainece came to “Fix” the issues but really never did anything they show up 10 minutes before their shift ends and tell you “I can’t do this it will take to much time” so they do band aid work that with time it causes more issue. I really enjoyed living here I really enjoyed living here, the apartment was spacious and well located. My neighbors where awesome as well and helped me move in. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and peacefulness of the area. Not to mention how accessible these apartments are to just about everything you could want. There is a Kroger, Walmart, aldi and a plethora of other stores only a minute or 2 away. The hospital is just across the road and the local highschool is right there as well.
