RecommendedWhat a treat in this COVID quarantine! Had a "take out" treat the other night from Heritage Tavern that is as memorable, if not more, as my many wonderful culinary experiences around the world. New to this region, I am delighted that Heritage is here in Madison. Our family looks forward to our next "occasion " to enjoy the pleasant and talented staff at the Heritage Tavern!
Eating outside due to COVID in the old US BANK drive thru... they did a great job making the best of it. Food was amazing, both did the chef tasting menu and everything was amazing! Could not go wrong with any of the choices!
We love Heritage Tavern and will continue to support this wonderful place through these uncertain times. Last night, we enjoyed the Heritage Family BBQ meal with our daughter and friend - delicious pulled pork, sausages, ribs, corn bread and all the fixins. The carry out process was seamless, and as usual, the service was superb. Thank you to Dan and staff for another terrific meal!
Every time we leave after dinner, I tell my wife “Why don’t we come here more often ?” Never disappointed. Service is always spot on, food is very creative from ingredients to plating to taste. Well done AGAIN Chef Fox !!

Hands down the best service, food, and beverage selection (great beers and cocktails) in Madison! If you can get a seat close to the kitchen, watch the magic happen. You won’t be disappointed! And the desserts...yum!
