Very positive experience yesterday (3/29). Shot of cortisone has relieved tendinitis and Duypuytren’s contracture. I have gone to Dr. Gates a few times in the past. I would recommend him!
Dr. Gates is a fantastic hand surgeon. My right hand was so damaged through usage, I was no longer able to write, use a pair of scissors or do most functions you usually perform. My wrist was diagnosed as severely arthritic and I had other issues due to injuries. After surgery, my hand usage restored to perhaps 90 percent of normal which I was thrilled with. I am now seeing him for my left hand. He has impeccable credentials and I highly recommend him.
I have had a nearly 20 year history with Dr. Gates. He’s fixed a number of things and I have done very well. My only gripe is the wait time. I usually have to wait an hour before I see him. But once you’re in the back , you know you’re in extremely good care.
We are fortunate to have this very skilled hand specialist here in Naples. He has performed 5 different procedures on my hands, all successful.
Sara and Bonnie are excellent! Helped me enormously with the rehab on my hand after surgery. I wouldn’t have made anywhere near as much progress without them.
He was very thorough and gave suggestions to follow instead of surgery which I do not want.
Great doctor very friendly and nice staff
Dr. Gates is very knowledgeable in the field of hand surgery and promotes confidence through his explanation of what procedures will work best. This is my second time using him for a hand problem because the first repair 5 years ago went so well.
Great Doctor and his wife, Office staff, all but one, are incredible, Always smiling and caring. The rehab women are exceptional and really know what they are doing. This is most important. I would recommend this Doc.
