My visit was due to a severe injury. They were able to fit me into the schedule and promptly had me back to see the doctor. Staff was very attentive and doctor was professional and informative.
Absolutely would and do recommend Dr Gates and his staff.
I strongly recommend Dr. Gates. He repaired my broken wrist 4 years ago. It is still as good as new. Well, 99.9%. I am so very grateful--cannot imagine what it would be like to lose the use of my dominant hand/wrist.
Although I had to wait for over an hour to see Dr Gates, when he came into the exam room he was very thorough. He was patient with me; he explained my options to fix problems with my hands, including the cost. It would help if the office & exam rooms were updated with more comfortable chairs. Both Dr. Gates and staff were terrific! Trigger Thumb surgery was a breeze!
Dr Gates operated on both my shoulders 2013 and 2017 and they recovered perfectly. All functions normal; he is an excellent Orthopaedic surgeon. Went this time for arthritis in both thumbs. As usual was thorough in explaining options and what is involved with thumb joint surgery. Only reason for the 4 rating was because it took almost an hour from my appointment time to be seen.
Dr Gates quickly identified the cause my wrist joint. He injected the effected joint on the same visit. Within 24 hours my pain had disappeared. I was quite impressed with Dr. Gates’ expertise and understanding.
Efficient, competent staff who understand patient needs and the medicine. Dr. Gates is an expert in his field and I feel completely comfortable in his care.
