Henry ford didn’t think to share when I scheduled an appointment kids aren’t allowed. How would I know if I wasn’t told? And how did Henry ford know if I was dying or not and badly needed my appointment?

I'm writing this review because it's almost one year since my first delivery and I still cry of anxiety and anger from the mental damage Dr. Neil Simmerman has done to me. He was the scheduled OBGYN doctor at HFHS West Bloomfield during my L&D and he was the worst doctor I've ever met in my life! He barely introduced himself, he just entered the room. Never explained anything to me of what he was going to do so I can mentally and physically prepare. First time he checked my c...Continue Reading

If you have any needs for a child, I don’t recommend going to the emergency department, we showed up with our son who was 2 years old at the time.. he had an open toe fracture, the ER doctor wanted to amputate the toe, instead of stitching it together.. when we said no to the amputation.. the er DR then said, he talked to a plastic surgeon, and our 2 year old needed his little toe vessels re attached.. so he transferred us to U of M children’s Motts.. by the time our son got operated on was 9 hours after the accident happene... read more

Unfortunately, me and my mother drove 30 minutes to HFHS West Bloomfield just to have an unsatisfactory experience from persons in the Orthopedic department. An experience that has left a bitter taste in our mouths with the entire system and we will now drive 30 minutes in the other direction to the U of M hospital. Very dissatisfied, I understand there is the constant threat of COVID-19, but it is unexceptionable when my mother, who has been caring for me since fracturing my foot, is not allowed in the room or to even help ... read more

Absolutely not! Today my family was treated unfairly by the charge nurse. Nurses are supposed to be caring individuals, yet her personality is more poisonous and toxc than a rattlesnake. I will be sending a detailed description of her behavior, which is not only unbecoming of a nurse, but for anyone that considers themselves a human being. I am in a state of disbelief that your hospital would CHOOSE to employ someone that is so rude, disrespectful, arrogant, and it seems prejudice. I will follow up with explicit details beca... read more

What started as a beautiful day. A day of celebration and excitement. Turned into pure chaos. My Grandmother has been inside this hospital for 56 days. ICU the whole time. Up until a week and half ago we could not visit our dear loved one because of COVID-19 protocol. Today she was being released to another facility to continue care. A big day. The wonderful Doctor who was also proud and happy of the progress made suggested a parade style or what they called a "clap out" for my grandmother. We were told everything was cleare... read more

I decided to make the drive to this hospital from Grand Blanc for my pregnancy and honestly it was the best choice I ever made. We delivered a sweet baby girl yesterday and EVERY SINGLE Nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, housekeeper, charter and worker there was there for my baby and I. Shout out to Tasha in NST for making the last six weeks stress free and fun and getting me up to labor and delivery when it was warranted on Tuesday morning. Also another specific shout out to Allie, Meredith and Dr. McBride. They helped me saf... read more

Been here almost a week taking care of my newborn and her mother. Durning this hole thing was told I can’t leave because it is frowned upon. So I been here forced to pay for food from their cafeteria and since I am not working and don’t have the extra money I ended up not eating for almost 2 days only able to really eat what my my fiancé didn’t eat. Now they told us for hours we can go home by noon had a doctor and multiple nurses tell us so. But then say we can’t after having us call everyone because they gave her antibioti... read more
