Some friends and I had the opportunity of coming to the area for the half marathon in Bryce. Made the drive out to try this little gem and it was well worth the miles both on and off the marathon course 😉. We come from the Pacific Northwest and find value in regional cuisine and this was nothing short. I have been an employee for Jin and Blake they are exceptional people. Follow them even to this day because I love and support everything they stand for and work so hard to accomplish!

There's nothing quite like driving over the Utah Hwy 12 hogback section between Escalante and Boulder, and stopping for a meal at Hell's Backbone Grill. Afterward, we drove back to camp outside of Escalante. It was a full day of goodness.
Friends told me about Hell's Backbone Grill, and the first time I stopped in I loved it. Now, I can't go through Boulder, Utah, without stopping in. Friendly staff, great food, eat indoors or under large cottonwoods, with a very pleasant view. Right next to the western end of the Burr Trail, which I highly recommend.
