We dined at Hell’s Backbone Grill last night for our anniversary. We were both blown away by the exquisite food and warm and inviting atmosphere. The trout and pappardelle were both perfect. Everything accompanying those dishes was superb. We also had the black powder biscuits (oh my!) and the pumpkin soup. The cocktails were very special and the dessert was magical. Thank you for giving us a night to remember.
HBG had been on the top of my culinary wish list for years. Finally fulfilled my dream in late October and it was incredible. Food delicious, service excellent and the vibe & backstory of this place are intriguing. Beautiful country, just go!! Best meatloaf ever!

I have been wanting to go here for years and finally got the chance this week. We got take out since are still skittish of even patio dining, but we're able to sit at picnic tables at the lawn next door. The waitress brought the packed up food over to us. I got the Jenchiladas and got one meat and one veggie. I have to say the veggie one was better! But the corn sauce was perfect over both. We got the chocolate pot de creme at the end.
