In June of 1963, Nicolas Kalcanides came to the United States from Greece with his wife, Irene, and two children, Steven & Helen. In August of 1968, after working for 5 years at his hot dog stand, Nicolas opened up Helen's Pizza, naming it after his daughter. The entire family worked to keep the pizzeria growing. They didn't respect the free pizza promotion... the delivery guy told us he would bring it home.. he took an hour. We didn't heard from him. We called the place and then they said it wasn't place in the order... it's unfair considering we did it trough grub hub and it said it applied. Upset
The most amazing food and generous people �. The best in town
We brought a bus load of hungry girls from West Chester, PA & were treated like royalty. Food was amazing!! Thanks again!! Plus, coming from a family who visits Jamaica very often, the authentic beef patties were a much appreciated surprise
Helen's is the best! Their sandwiches are delicious, the salads are tasty, and nobody beats their pizza! I drive 30 minutes just to have their pizza!
