DONT go here if you want timely care. Got blood work done a WEEK ago. still no results. Thank God i went to another doc and got the care i needed! They also failed to submit the referral for the OBGYN they referred me to so now i'm dealing with issues with tricare. The doc i saw was some fill in doc and she was extremely rude. I could hear her talking about me to the nurse outside. SO unprofessional!!!
OVERCHARGED AND UNDER-PROFESSIONAL. I did not see Dr. Heavens himself, but another practitioner in the Heavens Medical group (she was actually wonderful). However, the office would not give me lab results via phone/ pt portal, and made me come back to see them. The NP was confused, as they were fine, and unsure why I have been forced to come back-- but I still had to pay $40 for a visit! They are an unprofessional office that seems a if they are trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you
I will never go back to Heavens medical office again, I was never told there was going to be such a large Co pay till I was leaving, when I payed my Co pay of $98 dollars I couldn't afford to pay for my prescription so what was the point of going to the doctor to get a prescription if I couldn't pay for it due to such a high co-pay, Fisher Tire up front that there's going to be a $98 copay I would have walked out of office.
I have had 5 appointments with this office and every time I have seen a different doctor or nurse practitioner. During my most recent appointment I was pressured by the medical assistant to provide a more detailed reason for my visit than the one I had already provided. This was done within earshot of staff and other patients. When I expressed my desire to share this information privately, the assistant was rude and hostile. I left without seeing the doctor. They have not returned my calls.
I was very specific i wanted to see Dr. Heavens. I waited two weeks to see Dr.Heavens not a helper They placed me with a helper any way. This is not an isolated incident my wife requested Dr.Heavens and was given a helper. She had to go back for the results again specifying Dr. Heavens she was assured she would see him, again she saw a helper. There is no excuse for this you trust a doctor with your life and he is either deceitful, incompetent or greedy and is not performing as a professional.
