I know that you may be tempted to go with a Klimaire mini split 18000 SEER because these look good and the price seems reasonable.. but “mark my words… “ You will be sorry if you do ..within 3-4 years from purchase date…These units all break within the same time frame…In fact..in a period of 12 years .. Mistakenly ordered a 3.5 ton straight cool condensing unit when I was meaning to order a 3.5 ton heat pump condensing unit. Have been trying to get a return authorization for two weeks now and am only getting the run around. Their customer service is horrible. Buyer beware.
Total scam and highway robbery. I had a project on a deadline, before ordering I called to get a time window. Their "latest arrival date" was almost a week before my deadline, so I ordered. A couple days after their latest date, I called to get a status and they simply told me "in progress" without anything else. A day before my deadline, I had to rush to find another unit locally. Absolutely terrible experience... I wish I had seen this website first, seems like a lot of people are having the same issues I have. I purchased a $1000 unit. Shipping was prompt, unit arrived in two package, one day apart (not their fault). I ordered a $80 installation kit, which was never included (of course, this was a Friday). Ordered AMANA PTAC 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner PTC153G25AXXX with 2.5 KW Heater, Standard Exterior Stamped Aluminum Grille: Mill Finish, and a 42 Inch Standard Steel Wall Sleeve on June 11, 2020.
