Total scam and highway robbery. I had a project on a deadline, before ordering I called to get a time window. Their "latest arrival date" was almost a week before my deadline, so I ordered. A couple days after their latest date, I called to get a status and they simply told me "in progress" without anything else. A day before my deadline, I had to rush to find another unit locally. Absolutely terrible experience... I wish I had seen this website first, seems like a lot of people are having the same issues I have. I purchased a $1000 unit. Shipping was prompt, unit arrived in two package, one day apart (not their fault). I ordered a $80 installation kit, which was never included (of course, this was a Friday). I called on Monday, talked to someone, said someone from their company would get it touch. Never did. Called again Tuesday, voicemail. Emailed Tuesday. No response. Ordered AMANA PTAC 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner PTC153G25AXXX with 2.5 KW Heater, Standard Exterior Stamped Aluminum Grille: Mill Finish, and a 42 Inch Standard Steel Wall Sleeve on June 11, 2020. I ordered a complete heat and ac system on May 28th the outdoor condenser arrived damaged on June 11th and they shipped an off brand TXV from a different warehouse on June 12th. I called and left messages on the 14th,15th,16th,17th and 18th with "JOE" the manager with no return call. I live in Florida and my AC died. I ordered a complete AC system on June 1, 2020, and at the time their website stated shipment would be within 1-3 days for this system. There were other systems listed that either stated 7 or more days for shipment or were back ordered. Today is June 12 and still no word from HeatAndCool about my order. I was trying to buy an Amanda ptac unit I have purchased it mid March and after not getting any update on shipping or an email confirmation I called customer service. From that point I just got mixed answers different stories and no results. I will not recommend using this company.
