After about 10 years with one of the national chains, whose people are "hearing instrument specialists", I decided to try someone else a little over a year ago, and went to Dr. Dowd, who is a Doctor of Audiology. I was impressed on my first visit and continue to be happy with her knowledge and professionalism. I have visited her a few times for adjustments and a regular annual checkup and hearing test after one year and I continue to be very satisfied with her service and helpful suggestions. I've purchased my 2nd pair of hearing aids from HSC upgrading to new technology and improved my hearing greatly. Dr Dowd is a caring professional who helped me choose the best aids for my issues.
Since getting my new hearing aid things have improved greatly. I couldn't hear well prior to receiving my hearing aids and was let go from two jobs because of my condition. I am completely satisfied with the hours of operations Hearing Solutions Center offers and the employees are wonderful. They make me feel good about this experience. I feel my quality of life has improved and I couldn't be happier.
Dr. Dowd is a true professional. Testing does not take long and she will work with you to find your best hearing solution. I purchased hearing aids and thought I had problems with them. She quickly got me in for an appointment to try to solve the problem. It was a minor problem (nothing wrong with the hearing aids). She listens to what you want or need and then tries to solve the problem. She even called me when she was out of town for a meeting. She also works on Saturdays.
