Waste of Time!! – I was sooo excited to try this place out after reading all of the reviews on Citysearch and being new to the city .. .well, I will never go back!! My stylist was rude, gave me a subpar haircut, and did not talk to me the entire time!
XOXOXOXOX – I LOVE Richard!!! My usually difficult, naturally curly hair was like puddy in his hands and became a masterpeice! I can't count the number of complements I've gotten on the cut and the color. I continue to give out his number to people that ask, even fellow BART riders. I'm pretty adventerous and he does a great job of listening to what I want, but makes sure that my sometimes overly ambitious desires come through elegant and realistic. why compromise- this is it! – My first review ever- Glen at Highlights is the best, hands down. After moving away from SF I actually fly back here every 6 weeks to get my hair cut and colored. That may sound insane, but bottom line- Glen is a pro. As a designer, I am always particular, looking for great quality, and wanting an inspiring experience in everything I do. Glen delivers. Why compromise or wonder on someone else? 10/10 and I feel lucky to have found someone I can consistently count on!
Adrain has been cutting my hair for years. Everyone of my haircuts has been fabluous! The atmosphere is friendly and fun. The conversations are better then group therapy. I can honestly say you will walk out the door feeling like a queen or a king or whatever it is you want to feel like.
Best haircuts of my life – Ive been going to Adrian for the last nine months or so and have never had better, more consistent haircuts in my life. Hes an artist with the scissors and has every right to be proud of his skills, yet never shows it. Professional and serious, while relaxed at the same time. Ive watched him approach every cut with a fresh perspective. The atmosphere is upbeat with tasteful, contemporary music. Comfortable for the hip and non-hip alike.
Richard took 10 years off my look! – Richard IS a good listener, but he is also intuitive beyond belief. I walk in not knowing what to do and he manages to give me an easy, up to the minute look that never fails to get comments. (As in, "Hello, young lady." I'm 35 and I got carded the other day!) And, his cuts LAST. Several times I've come into the salon to get a new cut and people think I'm just leaving because my hair still looks so fabulous. My inner Salma Hayak was released! – Richard is the best! Although I have always had "good hair" you'd be surprised how hard it is to take find the perfect haircut and color...and as a native San Franciscan I have been to almost all the chi-chi and no so chi-chi hair salons...but this is it,the search is over. Richard is a true artist in both the art of cutting hair and the art of customer service. I always feel like Salma Hayek everytime I leave the salon...and that alone is worth the price of admisson!
I loved my hair – I have had my hair screwed up so many times in the past I am always worried about getting it screwed up again. They chop it off when I specifically say I am growing it out. The color is too dark or too reddish. Richard he gave me the best haircut I have ever had he made it look healthy, without making it look shorter at all I have longer hair and I like it that way. Best Hair in the City! – I would consider myself to be afraid of commitment when it comes to choosing a stylist. I recently moved to the city and had a slew of horrible, cry in the mirror haircuts; this was NOT the case with Adrian. This I can honestly say is one of the best haircuts I have ever had.
