Great Place with good energy! – Richard is fantastic! I went in for the first time today and Richard did an outstanding job on my hair. Although I am trying to grow my hair longer, I went in prepared to have it cut short because it has been out of control. Richard advised me to keep growing it. I am glad I took his advice. Highly Recommended – Step into Joseph's parlor for a great time of beautifying and storytelling! This man clearly loves what he does and it shows in his great care and meticulousness displayed in his work. His professionalism and skills, honed during his years at 77 Maiden Lane, clearly show. I received so many compliments on my hair that day I was glowing.
Expert hair cut and highlight – I highly recommend Joseph at Headlights. I made an appointment online (very easy and convenient!) after a bad cut and color elsewhere and he took the time to really discuss with me what he suggested for my hair. I left feeling great about the results. He did a fabulous job.
Joseph is a hair genius! Best cut and color ever – I was so impressed with the cut and color that I got from Joseph that I am compelled to write about it here. He is gentle and intuitive to what I needed in a cut and color. The atmosphere is so relaxed that I felt at home. I recommend Joseph to anyone who wants a competent artist and Headlights to anyone who wants to feel welcome and relaxed.
Love it! – My stylist left to Japan, and I was reluctant to get a cut by someone else fearing, from past experiences, of another traumatic episode. I've been saved! – I came into this salon after a stylist at another salon turned my hair completely black! The next day I went to Headlights and Joseph saved me. He corrected my color from the witchy black to beautiful and nautual looking highlights. He was careful not to damage my already overprocessed hair. Also it was a great relaxed enironment. Richard is Fantastic! – The minute I stepped into Headlights, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Richard was warm and friendly and treated me like I'd been a valued client of his for years. Not only is he hilarious and indredibly easy to talk to, he also really knows hair, period. By FAR best first visit to a salon – I read about these guys online and so I went and booked an appointment online (super convenient) and went today and they were so sweet! The atmosphere is way friendly and playful and he's great because he (Richard) listened to what I wanted but also gave his advice too. Ever since I moved to the bay area two years ago I haven't found a stylist that I wanted to stick with but I do believe we have a winner :) oh and they totally had a back massager on the chair with the hair dryer- GENIUS!
