You never look forward to a hospital stay, however, if it need be, Regional Center of Bayonet Point is the place you would prefr to be. The staff is ever so caring and helpful. The food is exceptional, especially for a hospital. My best to the chef. You actually felt like you were part of the family and they truly cared about you. It was a pleasant experience and one I never expected.

This hospital doesn’t even deserve one star but the site made me put something. I’m 45 yr old female and I suffered a heart attack at the end of October 2019. On November 1st I went through quadruple bypass surgery. I was in CSU for approximately 2 weeks with little to no pain management after having my chest cracked open. I was discharged with vague instructions for the care of my sternal wound. I was told no soap/water. Just let shower run over it. This place is a joke I came for an infection in a tooth and 3 hrs later they give aleve for a very bad infection are kidding me never have I seen a hospital like and this is not the first time for this from this hospital....... What a joke they will get no money from me ever I'll take it to my grave ..... What a joke of a hospital .... .... .... Mean staff nasty DR wow unreal thanks rick Scott lol wow

I am sitting in the ER room because my FIBRO is acting up and I fell due to my gate being off. The NURSE not DR ame in rushed the exam and took an exrys of my knee to come in Nd tell me it's not broken. Ummm ok and she didnt address my neurology I'm numb and disoriented and she rushed me out now I'm waiting to get my knee wrapped. I told her I fell and she is not listening. The other morning ( 11/3) I went to the ER because I had a lot of blood in my urine. After several expensive tests and 3 1/2 hrs later, on my discharge papers it said, and I quote, " You have been diagnosed with hematuria" ( For those who do not know, hematuria is a medical term for blood in the urine). Well DUH!!!!!! I already KNEW I had blood in my urine, I brought in a sample with me!!!!! Then I was instructed to see a urologist as soon as possible. I am writing in regards to a stay at Bayonet Point hospital on Feb 25-27 I can not take a generic medicine for Percoset so the nurse said go buy it and the hospital can give it to you, here in the hospital, if you need it. My husband went and bought it for $400--I only ask for it one time and this hospital is charging me $276.00 for the one pill I paid for to give it to me. That is the most unreasonable charge I have ever had. I need another surgery with Dr Sincoff and will not get it done at this hospital if I have to pay ... read more

The nursing staff in the ACE unit were terrible. Seldom did they check on me, it took 20-35 mins to get a nurse when you called. The nurses seem to be eating or chatting in station area all the time, my meds were always late. Poor poor staffing nurses. I believe HCA needs to stop hiring agency nurses and employ there own staff. Agency nurses don't care, they come and go when they wish. The ER, that was even worse, my family was beyond words asr to their bedside mannar, and their medical care. My insurance paid 38,000 dollars... read more
