The Hayes family is amazing! They are warm, friendly, fun and super knowledgeable, Patrycja is wonderful as well and so helpful. Hayes is my happy place!
The store is wonderful and the staff are magnificent. well stocked, well informed, and family owned which is always a plus for me. Customers feel cared for and appreciated. I drove from Jersey and will continue to do so. Took a class and dropped $6,000 on a long arm and supplies, and look forward to spending money there in the near future. You can't find old fashioned service like this anywhere today. Plus, Mr. Hayes is darling.
Walking around, I'm very impressed with this store. What a delight to find such a well supplied local sewing store, and a Bernina dealer and service center to boot! That said, when I asked for a fiber content ID on an unmarked bolt of fabric and was told it was cotton/linen, and then performed a burn test which proved it to be half synthetic, I lost a lot of my faith. Please label fiber content (and please label it accurately)!
Great customer service! After having Hayes Sewing repair my 47 year old sewing machine, I thought I lost one of the screws that secure it to the case. Following a fruitless trip to both Home Depot and Lowe's, I called Hayes Sewing to inquire about a replacement. Stephanie placed a couple of screws in the mail free of charge. Thank you Hayes Sewing for providing such excellent service.
