RecommendedThe venue is beautiful however I do not recommend attending the last seating for brunch (2:00) most of the food was picked over, the menu trays were mostly not replenished and the desserts were long gone just crumbs where there were once many cakes. I felt like the 2:00 pm seating was for eating the leftovers from the earlier seatings that were unfinished. For the price I really feel that fresh food should be replenished for even the last seating unless there is a discounted price.
A very nice place for corporate function. Excellent food, service, setting, facilities. Old school beautifully built and landscaped historic landmark.

As others have said, beautiful grounds! Interesting self guided walking tour of the hotel with a map of what to see among the architectural accents, historical photos, and public rooms. Great park just across the lot and you can even get a basketball at the front desk! Nice pool (not huge, but a decent size - could use more chairs) and good hot tub. I have not yet stayed here and already am thrilled to be staying at this gorgeous place Aug. 10-13. The reservation agent was incredibly helpful and got me an amazing deal. I called in rather than booking just via the Internet.

Beautiful, historic property. Well kept with really nice grounds. The staff is friendly and professional, there’s a pool, hot tub, spa, sauna...good bar and restaurant. Clean, very quite room, too.

The grounds and building are beautiful. There are almost constantly events going on (most of them with 500+ guests) and it seems like the staff is much more concerned with those events than their guests. Most of the staff was nice, however. All except Jane who is typically running the bar at the Palm Plaza restaurant and bar in the hotel. She was terribly nasty on multiple occasions.
