Apparently here it takes 3 hours to find out a fan stopped working due to a faulty wire. Another hour to address it. And as a customer I was told it could be “another couple of hours” to get a radiator hose FROM DOWN THE ROAD. When I went to ask for my vehicle since I knew I could fix the part myself in a matter of minutes and cheaper, they just went on and on about how bad the leak was. How could someplace so large be this incompetent. I spent over 4 hours here for a hose and a wire.

We had a great salesman, but Steven the manager was rude and not helpful at all. We were going to sign the papers on an explorer but it only had one key. The manager told our salesman “there was no way he’d get us a second key bc they were losing too much money on it already.”. Bologna. Thankfully, we walked and drove out to see a beautiful limited explorer that was priced three thousand less. We are in love with our new car with low miles. Every time I’ve used their service department there’s an issue. Called to make an appointment to get my truck worked on at the beginning of the week. Had an appointment for Thursday morning to get it worked on. Here we are and of the day Friday and its still sitting and hasn’t been touched. What good is an appointment?? Have used Akins in the past without issues, I live in Oakwood and will drive to Winder from now on. Not worth the frustration. I make a living with that truck on the road.
We had an appointment for Tuesday...brought the car in bright and early. Had to get a rental car. At the end of day one—heard nothing, so we called them. They didn’t have time on that day and promised they’d get to it on Wednesday. Day two of rental car...never heard from them. Husband had to call them. Still hadn’t gotten to it. Picked up Jeep...sent back rental car after paying two days for nothing. Won’t be going back...extremely disappointed and out $$$ for a rental. Everything service is always great and now i have 2 cars from there and our salesperson Tracy Bryan one of the best in the business. Goes out of her way to get you what you want wouldn’t go anywhere else. My son graduates this coming year and he can’t wait to buy a car from Tracy!!!
