Spent the weekend at The Hawthorne Hotel in Salem . We had a wonderful clean room overlooking the main shopping street in Salem. Nice room, nice little bar and restaurant.i would definitely go back Thank You Ruthanne Zanti
We went to the Hawthorne for the masquerade ball. This event was like no other. From the second we arrived until checkout was just great. The ball was just a huge Alice in wonderland party. The staff was awesome. The rooms were small but it is expected considering the age of the building. Overall I had the time of my life. We stayed on the sixth floor which added to the experience. With that said...Watch your pictures and videos closely.
The location is great! Would have enjoyed a couch by the fire, dinning has too many tables so only one table can enjoy the ambience of a beautiful fireplace. The hotel has a great sense of history we enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location to stay, park, and sight-see. Loved the old style!
