Awesome place. I don't know why it isn't one of the highlights of Austin in the google search. Was debating whether I should go owing to the lack of online presence, and then I was in area - decided to have a pop in. Spent 2.5hours there - awesome pop culture from the 20th century to now. In all forms; literature, film and TV, design, art, performance and drama etc etc.

A great gem of a museum. Manuscripts, memorabilia, and Matisse. Members' receptions are Informative and loads of fun. Staff are superb!
