Fantastic doctor! I saw another doctor at Ortho Virginia and was told all I needed was some physical therapy. Then I went to see Dr Shaia and he agreed to do surgery on my shoulder. Awesome job and I am getting back into shape after 2 months. Now I can sleep at night and hunt again. Thanks Dr. Shaia.

Dr. Shaia has performed 2 surgeries for me in the past 2 years. He's professional, friendly and easy to understand. I am very satisfied with both pre- and post surgery care.
He's wonderful. Excellent orthopedic, excellent staff.
Dr. Shaia has done two of my replacement surgeries and is going to do third replacement. My hip and my knee are both doing exceptionally well thanks to him and his staff, and I know knee #2 will be just as good. Must commend not just Dr. Shaia's professionalism but also the warmth: something not often seen is surgeons. I feel like I'm a whole person, not just a piece of meat on the operating table. I can't give a higher rating than 5 but I would if I could.
No wait. Great bedside manner. Left me with a treatment plan that was easy to understand. Highly recommend
Excellent care giver answered all questions, kind and friendly manner. Have had two hip replacements and getting a knee replacement, trust him completely.
